Busy day today with the guys stopping of at Stoke City football stadium for lunch with weather on their side and it was nice enough to have lunch in the car park of the stadium then on to friends of Stevie for another afternoon tea and a wee crash we think which possibly involved Stevie and  Dave that have come together at some point but no one injured just their pride!!.

Miles today was around 85 with an average speed of 12-15mph which is much the same over the last 5 days so this is a good sign as the guys are not starting to drop off the pace and looking good for the days ahead.

Always the worry is when the pace drops off someone is struggling and this is when mistakes can be made and frustration sets in, so glad to see at this point in the cycle all the guys seem on top form other than some aches and pains but all around things are looking good.

Its official within the last 2 hrs the Just Giving total has hit the half way amazing what an achievement keep the donations coming folks this is a fantastic charity with amazing guys knocking there pan in and giving it their all.

Afternoon tea party with friends of Stevie Gilmour (cyclist)  Sharon and Martin Saunders with kids Polly, Jack and Harvey and Dexter the dog were also joined by Stevens wife Lorraine and daughter Eve for tea and cakes.

Looks like sugar, sugar and more sugar…No amount of pasta is going to get these guys back on the healthy eating track.

Really nice of the Saunders family to have put on an amazing spread however guys, you will all be suffering tomorrow.

Not sure how we go from a Charity Cycle to this?? ……Anyone’s guess……i am really sorry if anyone has been put off their dinner this evening ha ha,   however all complaints can be directed to Mr Mark McNeil where he will deal with them on his return!!

This was a re-enactment of a crash that happened earlier all are ok and no injuries, so all good .
